Description

The course is a three day course that includes a theoretical introduction to the reference database structure and how to use the Product Design application with the trading related parameters in focus.

The theoretical information is given in combination with extensive hands-on training, where the participant learns how to handle realistic scenarios using the Product Design application.

The participants will during the course configure a new market and associated instruments. Members and users trading on the newly created market will also be defined in the exercise.

Goal

To give the participants the knowledge needed for defining instrument and combination series, Users, Participants, Underlying Products and whole Markets as well as changing the parameters when necessary.

Purpose

The participant shall be able to work independently in the application and know where to find information and help.

Target Group

• Market Control staff responsible for maintaining trading related information in the Common Database (CDB).
• Staff who needs in depth knowledge about the instrument and user configuration

Knowledge requirement

• Completion of the course “Introduction to the Genium INET Trading system”
• A general knowledge of financial products is recommended.
