Description
Genium INET consists of several sub systems which control different parts of the system. This course gives you the basic knowledge of how the Genium INET system is built. We examine which sub systems that are updated when a trade is matched and explore the sub systems that interact when trades are cleared and settled.
The course is a good base and a prerequisite for further Genium INET courses offered by Nasdaq OMX.
Goal
You receive an overview of the database structure, where the reference data is defined. We inspect the price distribution and look at sub systems which supervise trading and Market Maker obligations.
The clearing sub system collects deals and we examine which subsystems are used to calculate margin requirements, settlement and the information flow of collateral.
